Aftercare
For brows…
On the first day, allow your brows to rest without any treatment. Starting on day two, gently cleanse your eyebrows morning and night with antibacterial soap for the next 4-5 days. Use your fingertip to softly cleanse the area.
After washing, gently pat dry with a clean cotton pad. Once fully dry, apply a small amount of ointment, taking care not to over-apply, as too much can prevent your skin from breathing.
Avoid applying ointment to a damp tattoo.
For lips…
With clean hands, gently wash your lips each morning and night. After washing, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor ointment. Continue this routine for 4-5 days.
Avoid spicy and hot foods for at least 24 hours.
For all Cosmetic tattoos…
No scratching/picking dry skin
No makeup on the area for at least 1 week
No foreign body fluids in or around for 5 days
Avoid sweating for 1 week
No UV exposure for 1 week
Avoid the sauna, swimming, and bathtub for 1 week
No exfoliants, glycolic acids, retinol acids, and alpha hydroxy acids on the area for a month after the procedure. This could cause premature fading.
Body tattoos
For all Body tattoos…
Please do not consume alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
Please do not apply numbing cream, lotion, body oils, or temporary tanning before your appointment as this may interfere with the tattoo pigment.
Your artist will apply a protective bandage to your tattoo. Keep this bandage on for at least 24 hours, even while showering. You may change it the evening after your session, or earlier if it begins to come off or irritates your skin. When removing, gently wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap, rinse, and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
For the first 2-3 days, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor after washing and drying the tattoo. Repeat this 2-3 times daily.
After 2-3 days, switch to an unscented moisturizer for the next 1-2 weeks. Expect some peeling; if scabs form, let them heal naturally without picking or scratching to avoid disrupting the ink.
Avoid soaking the tattoo in water (baths, swimming, sauna, tanning), and stick to showers only for at least two weeks. Avoid sweating for one week.
