Aftercare

For brows

  • For the first day, let the brows relax and do nothing. From the 2nd day for 4-5 days, gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with antibacterial soap. Use your finger tip to gently cleanse the eyebrows. After the area has completely dried (gently pat-dry with a clean cotton pad), apply a little bit of ointment. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin. *Please do not apply ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.

For lips

  • Wash your lips morning and night. Apply Aquaphor ointment in a thin layer after cleaning. Make sure hands are clean before you touch your lips and wash them. You will continue this for 4-5 days. Please avoid spicy and hot foods for at least 24-hours.

For all Cosmetic tattoos

  • No scratching, picking off dry skin

  • No makeup on the area for at least a week

  • No sweating for a week

  • No foreign body fluids in or around for 5-days

  • No sauna, swimming pool, or bathtub for a week

  • No UV exposure for a week

  • No exfoliants, glycolic acids, retinol acids and alpha hydroxy acids on the area for a month after the procedure. (This could cause premature fading)

Body tattoos

For all Body tattoos

  • Please do not apply numbing cream / lotion / body oils or temporary tanning prior to your appointment as this may interfere with the tattoo pigment.

  • Your artist will dress your tattoo with a bandage. You may shower with the bandage on, as we recommend leaving the first bandage on for at least 24-hours. You can change it the evening after your tattoo. Only take it off early if it is coming off and exposing your tattoo, or if it is bothering your skin. When you take your bandage off, wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap, rinse it, and pat dry with a clean paper towel.

  • After taking your bandage off, apply Aquaphor for 2-3 days. After washing the area with gentle anti-bacterial soap, pat-dry the area and apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor. Repeat this process for 2-3 times a day, for 2-3 days.

  • After the steps above, use a moisturizer for a week or two. Use a nice, unscented lotion such as Aveeno, Lubriderm, etc. Your tattoo may peel; if it does scab, this is nothing to worry about. Let it fall off and heal on its own. Please do not scratch or pick at your tattoo, and do not over-soak when showering. This may lead to blank spots that will need touching up.

Shower only (no baths, swimming, sauna, and/or tanning) for at least 2 weeks. Please refrain from soaking the tattoo for too long in any kind of water.
